We are the ONLY ones providing this service in the Muslim Community in Canada.

COVID-19 has taken away essential care for Muslims with disabilities, caregivers, and families. This Ramadan, please help DEEN in providing our joint community obligation to the most vulnerable members of our society. Help us strengthen our services, so the community is supported during, and after recovery.

We offer programs and services at 3 locations: Mississauga, Ottawa, and Scarborough with virtual programming, in-person programming, a Peer and Vision Network, respite programming and more. We need your help to support individuals and families living with disabilities with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” [Tirmidhi].

The Hard Impact of Covid-19

The pandemic has hit your brothers and sisters with disabilities the hardest, isolating them from society even more. Mohammed has nowhere to go now. Ayesha has nothing to do, and caregivers are burnt out desperately needing a break. DEEN is an essential service, a second home for many, and we are trying to keep our doors open with your help.

Our participant, Mohammed desperately needs an in-person program to go to, because virtual programming does not meet his needs due to his disability. He now misses the day program and going to a place where he feels he belongs. They need a place to belong and a place to call home.
